Description

TR TR TR TR DESCRIPTION STONE PRESSED OINTMENT CONTAINING COLD PRESSED OLIVE OIL AND St. John's Wort (HYPERICUM PERFORATUM), WHICH HEALS BED SOUNDS, FIRST AND SECOND DEGREE BURNS AND SCRATCHES WITHOUT LEAVING SCARS Technical Area: The invention helps skin repair, wound healing and provides dermal reconstruction. Glayan olive oil, nourishes the skin and is antibacterial / St. John's wort oil, which has antiviral effects, is related to healing bedsores, first and second degree burns and rashes without leaving a scar by mixing paraffin, which helps protect the skin, create a barrier and moisturize the skin. State of the Art: By definition, an open wound is a traumatic disruption in the continuity of the skin and skin tissue. Wounds caused by heat-related burns are divided into three. First-degree burns, that is, superficial burns, affect only the epidermis layer, which is the outermost layer of the skin. Second-degree burns affect the layer called dermis as well as the epidermis. In addition to destroying the epidermis and dermis layers, third-degree burns penetrate into the fat layer of the skin and can cause permanent damage to bones, muscles and tendons. A bed (head) sore is a skin and/or subcutaneous tissue injury caused by pressure alone or a combination of friction and pressure, usually occurring on bone protrusions. In patients who are bedridden (or chair-bound), there is pressure on soft tissues due to the pressure created by body weight. The circulation of these tissues, which are trapped between the bone prominence and the bed, is disrupted and eventually tissue damage occurs. When this damage reaches a certain level, the wound opens. Excessive friction, keeping the skin tense, high body temperature and keeping the skin wet facilitate the formation of wounds. A pressure sore may occur even within 24-48 hours in a patient who remains in a fixed position, and if the necessary precautions are not taken and intervention is not taken immediately, it will progress in a short time. A wound in the early stages, which is normally expected to heal within 15-20 days, may worsen due to continued pressure on the area, tissue edema, and infection with microorganisms transmitted from urine and feces. High-risk situations in the development of disease can be examined in two groups: those related to the patient and those related to the environment. Those related to the patient: 0 Lack of movement/immobility (patients who are bedridden or wheelchair users) o Insufficient water intake o Inadequate and unbalanced nutrition o Urinary or fecal incontinence o Sensory perception disorders (paralyzed patients, diabetics, etc.) 0 Advanced age Environmental related Those are: 0 Headache (lying or sitting in the same position for long periods of time) o Humidity/skin remaining wet o Wrong sleeping and sitting position Rash is a rash and redness that often results in inflammation of the body's breathable, healthy and flexible structure. Stone pressed olive oil, which is one of the main components of the invention formulation, is produced after a long and laborious process. The stones rotating around their own axis crush the olives in the bowl and turn them into dough. The olives turned into dough are then laid on specially porous sackcloths. These sackcloths, which are then covered with olive paste, are placed in the hydraulic press at 360 bar pressure. The presses slowly close and squeeze the olive paste out of the bags. During this compression, stone pressed olive oil slowly leaks from the bags and accumulates in the chamber below. In this way, a large portion of the stone-pressed cold-pressed olive oil in the dough is removed. This oil, obtained together with the sap and pulp of the olive, is not filtered. If the temperature of the water during olive pressing is below 27°C, it is cold pressed. The nutritional value of cold-pressed olive oil produced at low temperatures is higher than hot-pressed olive oil. Natural olive oil prevents premature aging of the body by regulating the functioning of cells. It has positive effects on skin health. It plays an important role in helping the skin achieve a healthier appearance by preventing it from drying out. It also plays a role in the healing of wounds by increasing blood flow in the skin. Studies have shown that topical application of olive oil to bedsores heals wounds through its anti-inflammatory effects, reduces oxidative damage and supports dermal reconstruction. In another study, it was shown that olive oil accelerated wound contraction of full-thickness burns. St. John's wort (Hzgeri'cum gerioratum) found in the formulation of the invention grows in the inner regions of Turkey, especially the Aegean Region and the Mediterranean Region. St. John's wort flower cultivation is widespread, especially in the city of Mugla. St. John's wort oil obtained from St. John's wort flowers collected from these regions is preferred. St. John's wort oil is known to have antibacterial and antiviral properties. It soothes and strengthens the skin. Application to the skin increases blood flow and is therefore effective in healing wounds. By using stone pressed cold pressed olive oil and St. John's wort oil together in the invention formulation, increasing the anti-inflammatory effect, maintaining the moisture balance of the skin, increasing cell and tissue repair, facilitating skin barrier repair and wound healing were achieved. Shortening the duration of inflammation, increasing Iibroblast migration and collagen accumulation are some of the effects of St. John's wort oil on wound healing. The density and consistency of the paraffin ointment contained in the invention formulation is increased. In addition, paraffin is effective in protecting wounds, burns and rash areas. The ointment, which contains paraffin, has the ability to form a layer / barrier on the wound, helping to protect the wound, burn and rash area from infections. Paraffin can help open pores and remove dead skin and dead cells. Its use in infections is explained. In this developed combination, the above-mentioned effects of each substance are known. In addition to the effects of stone-pressed cold-pressed olive oil and St. John's wort oil, one of the distinguishing features is that it has barrier properties in addition to its consistency and moisturizing properties due to the addition of paraffin. By using olive oil as stone pressed and cold pressed, it is aimed to use a product that is more natural and more effective in terms of content. In addition, adding St. John's wort oil by mixing stone-pressed cold-pressed olive oil and paraffin by heating and then cooling increases the effectiveness of St. John's wort oil. Since adding St. John's wort oil while heating will affect its effectiveness, adding it after cooling is an important distinguishing feature. Again, by combining the ingredients in the combination under the specified conditions, the combination provides relief from bed sores, first and second degree burns, and diaper rash in babies and adults, while also ensuring that these wounds do not leave scars. Preparing the invention as an ointment allows it to penetrate under the skin and have a direct effect. Purpose of the Invention: Staying in the same position for a long time in bed or chair-bound patients causes body weight to always apply pressure to the same areas. Due to this pressure caused by body weight, blood circulation is disrupted in these areas. With this disorder in blood circulation, skin and subcutaneous tissue damage begins to occur, resulting in bedsores. The invention is a healing and effective ointment against bedsores, first and second degree burns, and rashes in babies and adults, which are seen in such cases. It provides this with the anti-inflammatory effect of St. John's Wort oil it contains. Natural products have been widely used in the treatment of diseases, food and cosmetic industries from past to present. Olive oil is not toxic to babies. It kills germs and is less likely to cause an allergic reaction, making olive oil a good choice for babies' sensitive skin. Studies have shown that since St. John's wort oil is a natural product obtained from plants, there is no harm in using it on babies. According to the American Food & Drug Administration (FDA), paraffin can be used as a coating agent in foodstuffs. It is also the most commonly used component in baby oils. When applied to first and second degree burns, it provides healing without leaving a burn scar. This stone pressing occurs because the vitamins and antioxidants contained in cold-pressed olive oil and St. John's wort oil support cell renewal and ensure cell regeneration. It ensures rapid closure of the openings in the skin caused by bed sores. It covers the skin on wounds and burns that are susceptible to infection, forming a gel-like layer/barrier and helps prevent infection. The fact that the ointment does not contain any harmful, allergenic substances or products that may cause side effects ensures a wide range of users. Detailed Description of the Invention: Method: Stone-pressed cold-pressed olive oil is placed in a container. Paraffin is added to its content and heated to 70-75°C with a heater to ensure that the paraffin is mixed with the olive oil. Components should continue to be mixed during heating. After the paraffin melts and mixes completely with the olive oil, the mixture is removed from the heater. It is left at room temperature of 20-25°C. After the mixture is allowed to cool, St. John's wort oil is added and mixed thoroughly. After the mixture is ready, it is raised to 2-8°C to prevent its consistency from deteriorating. Industrial Application of the Invention: The invention is an ointment applied on the skin. It should be applied in a way that completely covers the wounds and burns. In this way, the products it contains cover the skin in the existing wound, burn and rash area and form a gel-like layer / barrier on it. Again, the products it contains ensure rapid healing of wounds and burns. It helps prevent wounds that are susceptible to infection in patients with bedsores from posing an additional risk for patients. Likewise, it helps avoid infectious conditions in burns, thanks to rapid skin renewal and wound healing. It also helps close the scars after healing of burn wounds. With its rapid effect on rashes, it ensures that the healing process takes a short time. TR TR TR TR
