Abstract

Buluş, gerektiğinde uçaktaki yolcuların solunumunun sağlanması için gaz karışımı ile ilgilidir. Rakıma bağlı olarak, oksijenin vücuttaki biyoyararlılığının artırılması için gaz karışımı, 30&#8217#&000ft irtifada artarak en fazla %17±5 CO2 olacağı şekilde 15&#8217#&000ft irtifada %7±5 CO2&#8217#&den oluşmaktadır. Karışım ya saf O2&#8217#&ye eklenerek ya da belirli bir oranda N2 ve belirli bir oranda O2&#8217#&den oluşan gaz karışımına eklenerek elde edilmektedir. Buluş ayrıca, kişilerin basınç düşmesi veya genel olarak hiperventilasyon halinde solunumunu sağlayan bir yöntemle ilgili olup, yöntem, kesintisiz olarak gaz karışımı sağlamanın, yukarıda açıklandığı gibi ağız ve burun üzerine yerleştirilen maskelerle sağlanması ile karakterize edilmektedir. Son olarak, buluş bu tür bir gaz karışımının, gerektiğinde kısıtlı hareket özgürlüğüne sahip kişilerin solunumu için kullanımı ile ilgilidir.
