Abstract

Piksellerin görsel dikkat çekiciliğinin ölçümü anlamına gelen belirginlik haritalarını, yerel kontrast iyileştirmede kullanan bir metottur Ayrıca, renge ve weber'in en küçük fark edilebilir fark yasasına dayanan bir belirginlik haritası çıkarım algoritması da sunulmuştur Belirginlik tahmini sırasında, piksellerin çevreleri ile olan ilişkileri, hem mutlak yoğunluk seviyesi hem de açıklık/koyuluk özelliklerine göre ele alınmıştır Belirginlik haritası elde edildiğinde, literatürde bilinen herhangi bir histogram eşitleme metodu ile, bir global histogram haritalama fonksiyonu çıkarılır Piksellerin düzeltilmiş yoğunluk seviyelerine son haritalanması, söz konusu pikselin belirginlik haritasının kuvveti ve işaretine bağlı olarak bir miktar, negatif ya da pozitif yönde haritalama fonksiyonu üzerinde kaymalar gerçekleştirilerek elde edilir Bu kaymalar, belirginlik ölçümleri farklı olduğu sürece, aynı yoğunluk seviyeleri için farklı haritalama değerleri sağlar Bu şekilde, koyu renk pikseller, söz konusu haritalamadan daha koyu seviyelere haritalanırlar ve tam tersi açık renk pikseller için de geçerlidir Bu durum, her bir yoğunluk düzeyini, belirginlik haritaları ile belirlenen kendi yerel özelliklerine uygun şekilde, yerel etki alanında kontrastın geliştirilmesini sağlar.
