Abstract

Ayak düşmesinden ve topuk veya yanal aşık kemiği üzerindeki basınca bağlı ülserlerden kaçınmak için hastanın ayağını desteklerken hastanın bacağına traksiyon uygulamak için bir traksiyon aleti (10) açıklanmaktadır. Alet ön ayak ve alt bacak kısımlarına (24, 26), ön ayak ve alt bacak kısımları içinde sürekli bir oyuğa (34) ve hastanın ayağmın ve alt bacağının içinden geçerek oyuk içine ulaşmasına izin verecek boyutlarda bir ön açıklığa (36) sahip bir gövde içerir. Gövde, hastanın topuğu oyuk içinde asılacak şekilde hastanın alt bacağını destekler. Ön açıklığı ayarlanabilir bir şekilde kapatan parçalar ve traksiyon şeritleri (14) gövdenin yanal bölgelerine (32) çıkarılabilir bir şekilde bağlanır ve ön ayak kısmından uzanır. Oyuğun iç yüzeyi, traksiyon şeritleriyle tam traksiyon yükleri uygulandığında gövdenin ah bacak üzerinde kaymasını önlemek için hastnın alt bacağıyla yeterince yüksek bir sürtünme arayüzü temin eder.
