Abstract

Bir hastada apandisitin teşhis edilmesi amacıyla,hastada en az bir apandisit belirtisinin ve aynı hastadan alınan sıvı veya doku numunesinde farklı biçimde apandisitle ilişkili en az bir molekülün varlığının belirlenmesini içeren bir yöntem temin edilmektedir. MRP-8/14 ve haptoglobin, apandisitle farklı biçimde ilişkili moleküllerin örnekleri arasındadır. Bu buluşa yönelik apandisit testlerinin yapılmasını sağlayan cihaz ve takımlar da temin edilmektedir. Bir yapılanmada cihaz, kan numunelerinin test edilmesi amacıyla içinden alam geçen bir immunoassay formatına sahip bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca, apandisit şüphesiyle ameliyat edilmekte olan hastalardan alman numunelerin kullanılmasını içeren apandisitle farklı biçimde ilişkili moleküllerin taranmasına ilişkin yöntemler de temin edilmektedir.
