Abstract

Doğru akım elektrik ark fırınında bulunan fırın potasının (A) belirli oranlarda bor taşıyıcı hammaddeleri (borik asit, bor, boraks ve susuz bor oksit), demir ve demir oksit taşıyıcı hammaddeleri (düşük silisli hematit cevherleri, demirli haddehane artıkları, metalik demir), redükleyici madde olarak odun kömürünü ve fırın içerisinde yoğunluğu azaltmak ve sinter oluşturmamak için kullanılan tahta talaşını içeren şarjla (4) doldurulması ve şarjın (4) doğru akım fırınında ark oluşturularak ergitilerek ferrobor üretilmesidir.
