Islenecek bir parçayi (28) tasiyacak bir döner parça (16) ve bir hareket yolu olan bir sonda (16) içeren bir imalat makinesinde sonda kiris hatasi telaffisi açiklanmaktadir. Telafi islenecek parçanin (28) gözlemlenen bir çapini ölçmek için sonda (26) kullanilarak ve sonra imalat makinesinin (10) geçis hatasi belirlenerek saglanir. Gözlemlenen çap ve geçis hatasi daha sonraa islenecek parçanin gerçek çapini hesaplamak için kullanilir ve böylece olabilecek sonda kiris hatalari telafi edilir.
