Mum, karisimi ag. % 30-60 arasinda; elyaflar, karisimi ag. %20-40 arasinda olusturmaktadir. Un, karisimi ag. %5-30 arasinda olusturmaktadir. Tercihen elyafli yanici malzeme odun elyaflari içermektedir. Karisim, kireç (kalsiyum hidroksit), sodyum hidroksit ve sodyum silikat gibi alkalin madde ve su içermektedir. Bulus, yukarida tanimlandigi gibi bir karisimdan, ekstrüzyon veya kaliplama yoluyla meydana getirilen sentetik kütük, tutusturucu veya benzeri ile ilgilidir.
