Such product shall contain at least 60 percent of the total surfactant product of (a) and the combined surfactant of (b) in such liquid product; (b) I percent by weight elevated temperature stabilizer system consisting of: (i) 0.1 to 8 percent by weight compounds selected from groups containing alkylamides, alkylamine oxides and mixtures of the above; (ii) 0.3 to 8 percent by weight compounds selected from groups containing Hydrocarbon oils with 9 to 30 carbon atoms, ammonium salts, organic amines, straight-chain fatty acids with 8 to 13 carbon atoms/fatty alcohols, branched fatty acids and mixtures thereof, when the total amount of fatty alcohols and branched fatty acids does not exceed 2 percent by weight in the liquid product; when the ratio of fatty acyl isithionate surfactant product according to (a) to the combined surfactant according to (b) is in the range of 10/0 to 6/4; the viscosity of such cleaning liquid product is at least 250 Pas at 0.01 per second; and the viscosity ratio at 40 °C to 25 °C measured at 0.01 per second is at least 0.1, when such product is stable (i.e., physically stable). And it does not separate into visible portions at 45°C for at least 2 weeks; and when at normal ambient temperatures, the product will contain dissolved surfactant crystals at temperatures between 30 and 50°C.

Procedure for the preparation of stable liquid products using fatty acyl isithionate surfactants when the procedure shall consist of the combination of the following compounds (a) to (d): (a) 15 to 50 percent by weight fatty acyl isithionate surfactant product, containing 10 to 55 percent by weight fatty acids and/or fatty acid soaps and 35 to 85 percent by weight fatty acyl isithionate in the said product, where the said product shall contain at least 70 percent of the total surfactant in the liquid product; (b) 0 to 6 percent by weight co-surfactant, chosen from a group consisting of anionic surfactants, amphoteric surfactants, nonionic surfactants and mixtures of these. When the amount of this cosurfactant is between 0 and 30 percent by weight of the total amount of fatty isithionate as per (a) and the cosurfactant as per (b), (c) a system of 1 percent by weight of the higher temperature stabilizers of the above substances, which shall consist of: (i) a compound of 0.1 to 8 percent by weight selected from the group consisting of alkylamidoamides, alkylamine oxides and mixtures of these; (ii) a compound of 0.5 to 8 percent by weight selected from the group consisting of hydrocarbon oils with 9 to 30 carbon atoms, ammonium salts, organic amines, fatty alcohols, branched fatty acids and mixtures of these, when the ratio of fatty acyl isithionate to cosurfactant is in the range of 10/0 to 6/4; The viscosity of the liquid cleaning product at 0.01 s-1 must be at least 250 Pas at 25°C; and the viscosity ratio at 40°C to 25°C at 0.01 s-1 must be at least 0.1; the product must be physically stable and not show any visible separation at 40°C for at least 2 weeks; and at normal ambient temperatures, the product must have surfactant crystals that dissolve at temperatures between 30 and 50°C.
