อุปกรณ์ชุดกุญแจเปิดปิดประตูโดยใช้แม่เหล็ก นี้ มีลักษณะเป็นสามส่วน ส่วนที่ หนึ่งคือคีย์การ์ดแม่เหล็ก ส่วนที่สองคือชุดเซ็นเซอร์แบบสอด ส่วนที่สามเป็นส่วนวงจร คอนโทรลโดยอุปกรณ์ชุดดังกล่าวจะทำงานได้ด้วยวงจรอิเล็กทรอนิกส์
