Abstract

A method for producing a custom-shaped load-bearing ceramic composite composite by bonding a multi-crystalline core. to infiltrate into the pre-formed substance Permeable core compounds such as the main component that is the product of Oxidizing reactions obtained by oxidizing the parent substance. A source metal type such as aluminium and may choose to have an element. Mixture of other metals is also possible. The composition of the mixture is made by touching a region of a preformed material of the type through which the substance penetrates. where the outer surface is bounded away from the contact area. with the molten metal mass which reacts with the exit Suitable type of oxidizer to vaporizers to produce an effect. The production of oxidizing reactions takes place in conditions with a temperature range. At certain times and under certain conditions, one type of additive may be selected. than joins in or on the origin metal or material Pre-permeable types are molten stem metals. The liquid moves through the product of the resulting oxidizing reaction. came up before that came into contact with the oxidizing substance until the cause Let the product of the oxidizing reaction grow into something. Pre-formed towards the outer surface that is the boundary. said until infiltrating what has been shaped in advance to the outer surface that is such a boundary and thus results are Combined structure of the desired shape and size.

A method for producing a custom-shaped ceramic aggregate consisting of a pre-formed material impregnated by a ceramic core obtained from the oxidation of a source metal to form a fused crystalline mass containing the products of the oxidation reaction of the source metal with at least one oxidizing agent. The method involves the following steps: (a) heating the source metal to a temperature above its melting point but below the melting point of the oxidation products to form a molten metal mass; (b) contacting a permeable region of the permeable metal mass with the molten metal mass. The permeable pre-formed material is a bulk material capable of supporting itself and maintaining its shape without requiring external supports on any surfaces of the pre-formed material, and the pre-formed material has at least one defined boundary surface away from the contact region in such a way that the oxidation products are injected into the pre-formed material. (c) reacting the molten metal at the said temperature with the said oxidizing agent to produce the products of the said oxidizing reaction; (d) maintaining at least a portion of the products of the said oxidizing reaction in contact with and between the molten metal and the said oxidizing agent, continuously attracting the molten metal through the products of the oxidizing reaction to the oxidizing agent in such a way that new products of the oxidizing reaction are continuously produced at the interface between the said oxidizing agent and the products of the previously formed oxidizing reaction that have permeated the preformed material; and (e) continuing the reaction until the products of the oxidizing reaction permeate the preformed material to the said boundary surface to form the said ceramic aggregate with the structure of the preformed material. 2. Method for producing a ceramic aggregate with the desired shape consisting of a preformed material infiltrated by a ceramic core obtained from the oxidation of the base metal. The pre-formed mass has at least one defined boundary surface that is load-bearing and allows the oxidizing agent to pass through and be infiltrated by the increase of the oxidizing reaction product. (d) mixing a suitable compound into the aluminum source metal, or applying a suitable compound to the surfaces of the aluminum source metal, or mixing a suitable compound within the pre-formed mass, or a combination of these processes. (c) heating the source metal. (d) The molten metal is heated to a temperature between approximately 850 °C and 1450 °C to form a molten metal mass, and the incorporation of a pre-formed, permeable material at a region away from the defined boundary surface into the molten metal mass in such a way that the oxidizing products are formed into the pre-formed material and in a direction toward the defined boundary surface. (e) The molten metal is then drawn through the oxidizing products to the oxidizing material at the aforementioned temperature with the oxidizing agent to produce alumina oxidizing products. (e) At least a portion of the oxidizing products are maintained in contact with and between the molten metal and the oxidizing agent, and the molten metal is continuously drawn through the oxidizing products to the oxidizing agent in such a way that new oxidizing products are continuously formed at the interface between the oxidizing agent and the previously formed oxidizing products that have permeated.
