A unique characteristic of this core is that it forms an inverted V-shaped cross-section in the center of the longitudinal direction. The permeable top sheet in contact with the upper surface of the absorbent core, and the rigid frame, have a higher rigidity than the absorbent core itself, creating an inverted V-shaped cross-section identical to that of the absorbent core. The backing piece extends horizontally outward beyond the opposite transverse edge of the inverted V-shaped cross-section created by the absorbent core. The top sheet is attached to the upper surface of the backing piece in the area where it extends outward beyond the opposite transverse edge of the absorbent core, creating a triangular space between the absorbent core and the backing piece. And the aforementioned rear piece, the rear piece that extends outward beyond the opposite side edge of the area to which the top plate is attached, to the upper surface of the rear piece.
