Abstract

The DC60 interlocking assembly is exposed for attaching the removable toilet seat and/or lid to the end of the toilet base. This assembly includes a permanently interlocking clamp that attaches to the toilet base, which is mounted on a cross-shaped clamp. The clamp is interlocked by flexible arms that extend from the hinge base. These arms slightly bend outwards during interlocking and disassembly, where interlocking and disassembly are achieved by a horizontal sliding motion. The rotating lid presses down on a pair of arms to cover the clamp, preventing bending of the arms and thus separating the base assembly from the clamp. The interlocking assembly is exposed for attaching the removable toilet seat and/or lid to the end of the toilet base. Claims (10)

1. The assembly for attaching the toilet cover to the toilet base includes a removable, extendable rear extension of the toilet base, a base assembly adapted to support the cover in a rotating manner, and a base assembly with a bendable arm that extends horizontally as needed, parallel to the upper surface of the rear extension of the toilet base during use. This arm forms part of the opening for accommodating the fastener, and the attachment clips are positioned around the fastener, with an extendable section on the top of the arm. The base assembly is connected and detached from the fastener by rotating the bending of the arm horizontally as needed, parallel to the upper surface of the rear extension of the toilet base, in such a way that the base assembly can be removablely attached to the toilet base. 2. The assembly of claim number 1, where the connecting element is in the shape of a cross as shown in the image above. 3. The assembly of claim number 2, in which the joint has a cross arm on the front which limits the relative rotation of the joint relative to the base assembly. 4. The assembly of claim number 2, in which the attached component has an underside. 5. The assembly of claim 1, in which the base assembly has two protruding arms positioned so that they are spaced apart on opposite sides of the opening, thus allowing the curves of the arms to tightly grip the curves of the joint. 6. The assembly of claim number 1, which also includes a cover capable of limiting outward bending of the protruding arm when the cover is in the closed position. 7. The assembly of claim number 6, where the cover is folded and suspended into the base assembly. 8. The assembly of claim number 7, in which the cover is connected to the base assembly via a rotating hinge. 9. The assembly of claim 1, where the fasteners are incorporated with bolts that can extend through openings in the base assembly and holes in the rear projection of the toilet base, and where the assembly is also incorporated with nut that can be positioned on the bolts located beneath the rear projection of the toilet base. 10. The assembly of Claim 1, in which the toilet cover shall be selected from a group consisting of the toilet seat and toilet cover and shall be assembled together with the toilet seat and toilet cover.
