Abstract

This palm fruit separator is used to transform the raw palm oil material, which is in the form of palm fruit firmly attached to the palm bunch, into palm fruit that has been detached from the bunch as quickly as possible, in order to extract oil in small palm oil extraction plants that use the roasting or frying process of the palm fruit. The preparation of the raw material before entering the palm fruit separator consists of (1) selecting and separating ripe and unripe palm bunches, (2) chopping the palm bunch into individual bunches by hand, (3) ripening the unripe bunches in ripening trays for 12 - 20 hours. Once the raw material is prepared, it is fed into the palm fruit separator, which consists of four sets of machines in sequence: a palm fruit detaching machine, a conveyor belt for transporting palm fruit and empty bunches, a machine for separating palm fruit from empty bunches, and a machine for separating the leaf stalks and impurities from the palm fruit.

Claims (1)

The palm fruit separator from fresh palm bunches consists of four sets of equipment that work in continuous operation as follows: a. Palm fruit separator (1) which consists of two sets of palm fruit crushing units (101) and two sets of vertical steel bars (102) arranged in a row. The palm fruit crushing unit (101) is driven independently by a motor. Between each set of vertical steel bars (102), there is a flat steel bar (103) that crosses to stop the bunches from waiting for crushing by the palm fruit crushing unit (101). b. Conveyor belt (2) which is made of steel plates driven by a double conveyor chain (201). The steel plates (202) are attached to the chain at intervals. A motor (203) drives a reduction gear (204) to drive the conveyor belt to move it along with a chain sprocket (205). c. Palm fruit separator from the bunch branches (3) which is made of a rotating cylinder (301). The machine rotates 5 degrees with respect to the horizontal. It is driven by a motor (302). The walls of the machine are made of steel plates with round holes around them so that the palm fruit can fall out. and fall onto the screw conveyor (303) which will carry the palm fruit out through the end of the machine (304). The bunches will be separated out through the outlet end (305) of the rotating cylinder (301) and are sorted to select the bunches that still have palm fruit attached and send them back for further ripening. D. Palm fruit and leaf separator (5) which is in the form of a rotating cylinder (401). The machine is made of steel bars (402) welded together to form a screen. The machine is tilted at an angle of 10 degrees to the horizontal and driven by a motor. At the end of the machine, a fan (403) is installed to blow the leaf stems and impurities away from the palm fruit.
