Abstract

The wood vinegar distillation system using a charcoal kiln consists of a kiln divided into two chambers: a combustion chamber and a storage chamber. The storage chamber has a removable opening on one side of the upper part for connecting a chimney pipe, facilitating easy transport and minimizing transport space. The lower end of the chimney pipe collects the wood vinegar, while the upper end is open for smoke venting. A unique feature of the chimney pipe is a condensing tube around its circumference, enhancing the condensation process. The lower end of the condensing tube is sealed to prevent leakage, and inlet and outlet pipes are connected to one side of the condensing tube to collect circulating water from an internal pump. This system yields 3-6 liters of wood vinegar and high-quality charcoal in just 6 hours of combustion.

1. The wood vinegar distillation set using a charcoal kiln consists of a tank (1) which has a cylindrical steel structure and is divided into two chambers: the combustion chamber (4) and the holding chamber (5) with a fine mesh screen (3) which is a finely woven aluminum wire mesh in a circular plate that fits the tank (1) placed on top of a coarse mesh screen (2) which is a steel mesh screen with equal spacing in a circular plate that fits the tank (1). The coarse mesh screen (2) has four legs (21) placed at the bottom of the tank (1), causing the combustion chamber (4) to be raised from the bottom of the tank (1) by one-third, and on one side of the combustion chamber (4) is drilled with holes. There is a combustion chamber cover (41), and on the combustion chamber cover (41) there is a handle (42), and on top of the turbine (1) there is a turbine cover (11). The water tank (9) contains a water pump (10) which is a device to increase the pressure of the water to circulate up through the inlet hose (112) into the inlet pipe (72), through the condenser pipe (7), and the water circulates back out through the outlet pipe (71) through the outlet hose (111) into the water tank (9). When the 6-hour distillation process is complete, the wood vinegar flows out through the lower end of the chimney pipe (6) into the wood vinegar collection area (8). It has a special feature: at the collection chamber (5) on top of tank (1), 3-10 centimeters down on one side, there is a hole for connecting to the chimney pipe (6), which is a straight cylindrical steel pipe. Installed separately from the tank (1), the pipe is angled upward at 45 degrees. At the lower end of the chimney pipe (6), a support for the wood vinegar (8) is provided, and at the upper end of the chimney pipe (6) there must be nothing obstructing it. Around the outside of the chimney pipe (6), a condensing pipe (7) is installed, which is a larger cylindrical steel pipe and half the length of the chimney pipe (6) is welded on. At the upper end of the condensing pipe (7) the height is reduced from the chimney pipe (6) by 5-10 centimeters. At the lower end of the condensing pipe (7) it is welded shut, and on one side of the condensing pipe (7), an inlet pipe (72) is placed at the bottom and an outlet pipe (71) is placed at the top, which are connected perpendicularly to the condensing pipe (7).
