(5A) REFRACTORY MASS
;: ;; - - , 1. . ; ;: ;; - - , one. . ;
The invention relates to the refractory industry, namely to the compositions of a sealing material that can be used to erect dense metal and slag-resistant seams. The smelting and metal melting devices
11. Known elastic refractory material, including refractory filler fused or sintered magnesite, rubber, and metallic aluminum 11.
The disadvantage of this material is that it is not characterized by sufficient ductility - workability and therefore does not provide a tight connection of parts of the casting equipment under the conditions of metal casting.
Closest to the invention is a refractory mass containing a refractory component - 15 wt, | kaolin or clay powder, 37 masd

The hiefiocTaTKOM of this sealing material is low plastic density due to the fact that the components included in its composition are characterized by high creep and cold flow. This composition has a low adhesive strength: the ability of the binder to the refractory component, which reduces its workability. In addition, the presence of clay or kaolin under the conditions of steel casting leads to

The aim of the invention is to provide workability by increasing plastic strength. "The goal is achieved by the fact that the refractory mass, mainly for sealing the seams of the lining of metal-smelting and casting devices, including a refractory component, iron scale, asbestos and a binder, contains chamotte as a refractory component, and spent mineral as a binder oil and additionally liquid bitumen in the following ratio of components, wt.%: Iron Asbestos Mineral waste, Liquid bitumen Else. plastic strength Increase and, accordingly, improve the workability of the proposed composition with spatial hardening of the structure of the sealing material, which is due to the formation of boundary interfacial layers and diffusion penetration of individual sections of organic-binding macromolecules into the pores of the refractory component chamotte. This is due to an increase in the active centers and burnt filler - chamotte. Spent mineral oil has oxidized fragments of molecules, i.e. they are more reactive to aggregate and provide a generally more ductile mass. Prepared three mixtures of the proposed composition and composition of the prototype. All mixtures are prepared by thoroughly mixing the components. The firing temperature, since at this temperature the final components burn out the binding components, t, e the formation of the structure of the shard ends. The composition and properties of the mixtures are given in t abl. one.. ; In tab. Figure 2 shows the kinetics of changes in the plastic strength of sealing materials. From tab. 1 it follows that mass 3 has a plastic strength value 3.8 times greater than the mass of the prototype. In addition, for sealing materials 3 and 4, their viability is tested for 49 days. From Table ... 2 it follows that the sealing material 3 after k3 days of storage increases the plastic strength by 1.09 times, and the sealing mother | $ / al k increases the plastic strength for the same period by 1.18 times. Thus, the advantage of the proposed composition is that it has a higher plastic strength compared to the known ones, and therefore it is better formed and placed in places where compaction is required, providing at high temperatures of 1500-1600 ° C sufficient weld strength - 2, . The use of this composition allows refusing expensive and scarce product, synthetic and primer resins, which are usually used as a binder for sealing materials. In addition, this composition allows the disposal of waste mineral oil, which in large quantities goes to waste.
