Description

The subject of the invention is a method for producing ceramic products, especially electrical insulators, from a mixture of ground synthetic mullite with bonding. The proposed method makes it possible to increase the mechanical and electrical strength of the articles due to the fact that synthesized magnesia spinel is added to the synthetic mullite to form a mixture. The proposed mass consists of synthetic mullite, synthesized magnesia spinel, Al2O3-MgP, and a plastic refractory linden, used as a binder. For the preparation of synthetic mullite, finely divided alumina is mixed in an appropriate weight proportion with powdered sifted clay or kaolin. The mixture of alumina and clay material is moistened and pressed into briquettes, which are then calcined at a temperature of 1400-1500. The synthesized shninel is obtained by sintering at a temperature of about 1500 briquettes consisting of samples of caustic magnesite and alumina. The briquettes of burnt mullite n Pinelite are crushed and subdivided., Depending on the type and purpose of the product to be manufactured, more or less finely ground in an Ielar mill with nlastpna refractory clay. The amount of clay added to the mass depends on the method of product design (pressing, plastic molding, casting) and is 10-25%. In the case of manufacturing insulators designed for radio installations, in order to reduce the dielectric loss angle, a certain percentage of barium carbonate is added to the mass. Due to the peculiarities of the chemical composition and the chemical composition of the mass, the products made from it are burned in a shard after which physical and chemical transformations are associated with the formation of an automatic, due to which a relatively low burning temperature of the products (1380-1400 °) is obtained. physical and mechanical properties.

Subject invention

The method of obtaining ceramic products, especially electrical insulators, from a mixture of crushed synthesized mullite with bonding, is distinguished by the fact that, with an increase in the mechanical and electrical strength of ceramic products, synthesized magnesia spinel is added to the synthetic mullite to form a mixture .
