Description
CTEPJKHEil(5) THERMAL INSULATING COATING FOR COKILE1 AND METAL CEPJKHEil
Улучшение качества поверхности отливок св зано с повышением долговечности покрыти .This invention relates to a foundry, namely, heat-insulating coating compositions for chill molds and metal rods. The known paint for casting molds and cores, consisting of a filly of a furyloxylite resin and a solvent, improves the quality of the surface of the castings and the process efficiency lj However, this composition is not suitable for hot tooling, in particular for chills and metal rods as used as a solvent highly flammable acetone. A coating for chillies is also known, consisting of a filler, TM carbon black and refractory clay, water glass, water and a 2J filler. The specified composition has unsatisfactory heat-shielding properties of you. The use of the coating worsens the sanitary conditions of the workshop and pollutes the surrounding environment due to 1-time difference in the composition of Crzy TM. Haiboiic-e close to the technical essence and the achieved result to isobrte 1; n1 g-shletts protective coating T e ivi metal lshym i) ap; -. Sol;: rya1tsee. i refractory half-light 2 (ppi-waste npii nroi, ferrosilicon and quartz flour), liquid glass 8-12, sulphite liquor 0, (- 355 and water - the rest. However, this coating has a low temperature resistance and does not provide the required quality of the surface of the castings The aim of the invention is to improve the quality of the surface of the castings and increase the heat resistance. To achieve this goal, the coating, including its refractory filler, water glass, sulphite, water, contains zirconium powder as a refractory filler. in the following ratio and in terms of grades of May: Sulphite liquor35 0 Liquid glass3-5 Zircon powder25-30 The presence in the coating of sulfite liquor and zircon powder can be obtained on the molds and metal rods, which can withstand heat directly during pouring hot metal, thus increasing the resistance of the chill molds. Improving the quality of the surface of castings is associated with an increase in the durability of the coating.

1 и 2. Т а б л и ц а 12000 2000 324 Sulfite liquor in contact with liquid metal provides a gas film between a layer of zircon powder bound by liquid glass and molten metal. This gas film reduces thermal shock to the coating and, consequently, to the forming surface, ko. The TOHbiue fraction of zircon powder, the better the diffusion of sulfite liquor between particles of zircon powder due to the capillary effect. Zircon powder is the best filler in terms of resistance and heat resistance. The compositions and properties of the proposed coating are given in table. 1 and 2. T a b l and c a 1
