Description

L9 75851 from 7 and BASIC avt. St. No. 75851 described a method of purification of vanillin and vanilal granulated by precipitation with acids soluble. X in alkalis cmol and isomers. The described method of cleaning vanillin and vanilal differs from that stated in ed. St. No. 75851 by the fact that canalates in paraclet or vanilla in aqueous solution are treated with heavy metal salts. The use of heavy metal salts improves the quality of purification of the body and vanilal and increases the yield of the product by reducing the amount of precipitation, containing a large percentage of vanillin, such as calcium vanilla. Example 1. 1 kg of technical vanillin is dissolved in 0.5 kg of 25% ammonia and 10 liters of ammonia. water at 60 °. 0.1 kg of copper sulphate and 0.4 kg of water are added to the resulting solution with stirring. Instead of copper oxide, you can add aluminum sulphate, chlorine powder TSI1N and others. Example 2. A solution of vanillin in hot water and at a ratio of 1: 25 is treated with tin oxide in the amount of 0.2% to 1 liter. The solution is filtered and allowed to crystallize. A1) measure 3. To a solution of vanilal, 0.3% emetic is introduced, filtered and crystallized.
