The invention relates to agricultural machinery, in particular, to devices for separating root crops from impurities, and can be used in machines for harvesting and post-harvest processing of root crops.

A separator of root crops from lumps of soil and stones is known, including a rotating lattice drum with flexible threads attached to its outer surface, a root-and-straw fruits remover and a fan with a discharge chamber located inside the drum (1).

A disadvantage of the known device is the unsatisfactory quality of separation of the root and tuber crops from impurities due to the unequal speed of the air flow across the width of the drum.

The purpose of the invention is to improve the quality of separation of the components of the mixture.

This goal is achieved by the fact that the separator is provided with an air-distributing device installed inside the drum, made in the form of a series of disks mounted perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the drum, the diameter of which is consistently increasing

A root and club separator from lumps of soil and stones, including a rotating lattice drum with flexible threads attached to its outer surface, a root-and-straw puller and a fan with an injection chamber located inside the drum, characterized in that, in order to improve the quality of component separation, it provided with an air diffuser installed inside the drum. 2. A separator according to claim I, characterized in that the air-distributing device is made to look like a row of disks mounted perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the drum, the diameter of which is made successively increasing in the direction from the edge of the drum. 3.
