The invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular to apparatus for cleaning tobacco leaves.

An apparatus for separating tobacco leaves is known, comprising strips swinging in a vertical plane, forming a working slot, and a drive mechanism 1.

A disadvantage of the known device is that when the leaves are separated from the stalks, the planks act on them for some distance, as a result, the petioles are bent and there is no separation of the leaves from the stems.

The aim of the invention is to prevent skips of harvested leaves.

This goal is achieved by the fact that, in an apparatus for separating tobacco leaves, containing planks swinging in a vertical plane, forming a working slot, and a drive mechanism, the planks must be installed at an angle to the horizon and to the axis of a row of plants and provide them with elastic grips. In addition, the slats must be installed in several ways, and the elastic grippers in their cross-section should be curved.

The apparatus for separating tobacco leaves contains strips 1 installed in several Russ. The slats 1 are connected to the L-shaped levers 2, which are housed in the supports 3, which are rigidly fixed in the housing of the gearbox 4.

The gearbox 3 contains a drive mechanism for oscillating strips 1. It consists of a shaft 5 with cams 6. The cams are in contact with spring-loaded two-arm levers 7 mounted on an axis 8. The two-arm levers 7 have at the end of a fork 9 which engage with the L-shaped levers 2

To ensure that the plants enter the working slot, grip all the leaves to be separated, the front ends of the oscillating strips 1 are bent down from the lower strips and upward from the others (Fig. 2). Under the slats 1 is placed the receiving conveyor 11, which is in contact with

The apparatus for separating tobacco leaves works as follows.

When the apparatus moves along the row of plants, plank 1 enters the interleaf space. The breaking height is provided by moving the entire apparatus relative to ground level B (Fig. 2), which can be carried out using a hydraulic cylinder.

The phases of operation of the oscillating strip 1 are as follows. In the initial position (Fig. 6), all the slats are horizontal. When the shaft 5 is rotated at a 90 ° angle, the two upper planks in the rear part are closed, and the third (lower) plank will remain in the initial position (Fig. 7). When the shaft 5 is rotated 180 °, all three pairs of planks in the rear part are closed, while the rear part of the two pairs of upper planks moves downwards (Fig. 8).

When the shaft 5 is rotated through an angle of 270 ° (FIG. 9), the rear end of the top bar moves upwards, and the closed ends of the middle and bottom bars move downwards. When turning

shaft 5 360 ° slats occupy their original position.

As the machine advances, the tobacco plant 14 enters the leaf separation zone, which is located in the rear part of the oscillating strips 1. Here the tobacco leaves are clamped by the strips 1, according to the interaction phases of the slats, and when moving downward from the stem.
