The invention relates to the oil industry, in particular to devices for blocking a wellbore. A known packer containing a stem self-sealing cuff consisting of a cylindrical and socket part and a limiter and stop l interacting with the cuff. However, this packer does not provide reliable sealing of the sub-packer space, especially in devices that are lowered into the well on a rope or wireline, since for their descent a gap is required between the casing and the string, and under these conditions the self-sealing cuff does not work reliably. The purpose of the invention is to increase the reliability of the well seal. This goal is achieved by the fact that the bell-shaped part of the cuff is made thin-walled with an internal cavity of spherical shape, and the stop, which interacts with the end of the bell-shaped part of the cuff, is spring-loaded in the axial direction. Performing the cuff in this form allows the socket part of the cuff to be turned inside during operation, due to which the diameter of the cuff increases and the cuff itself is pressed tightly against the walls of the casing, which increases the reliability of the sealing of the subpacker space. In addition, the possibility of increasing the diameter of the cuff after the packer is lowered into the well allows it to be made smaller, which makes it easier to lower the packer into the well. FIG. 1 shows a packer before operation; FIG. 2 - the same in the working position. The packer contains a barrel 1 with a nut 2, into which a cylindrical cuff 3 rests, is fastened to the stop 4. The stop 4 cooperates with a self-sealing cuff 5 consisting of a cylindrical and bell-shaped part, the inner cavity of the bell-shaped part has a spherical shape, the end of the bell-shaped part interacts with an emphasis b made in the form of a sleeve and pressed against the spring 7, while the spring in the compressed state is held by the latch 8. The packer works as follows. After the packer is lowered to a given i depth of the well, the latch 8 is turned, for example, by dropping
