(54) METHOD OF MANUFACTURING COCILEES
The invention relates to foundry production and is intended to produce chill molds by applying protective coatings by the method of gas-thermal spraying. There is a known method for the manufacture of chill molds, including the operations of gas-thermal deposition of a nichrome sublayer, a cermet intermediate layer made from a mixture of alumina and nichrome, a refractory layer of alumina, and the application of an additional layer of silicone paint}. However, the existing method for the manufacture of chill molds does not allow to obtain protective coatings with high durability. It is almost impossible to solve the problem of a significant increase in the durability of poxides by applying organosilicate coatings. This is due to the fact that oxide coatings during cast iron heat up to 600900 ° C, and the heat resistance of organosilicate materials does not exceed 400-5 oC. The destruction of organosilicate materials leads to a decrease in strength and an increase in the porosity of protective silicates. The purpose of the invention is to increase the durability of the coating. This goal is achieved by the fact that in the known method of making chill molds, including the operations of applying a thermal spray coating of a protective coating of refractory oxides and impregnation with heat-resistant substances, the coating after the spraying operation is impregnated in a 60-80% or-. to phosphoric acid at 80-130 ° C for 10-30 minutes, after jero the chill mold is heated to 350-400 ° C at a speed of 1.5-2.0 degrees / min, and then held at 550800 seconds for 5-15 minutes . Processing of chill molds with sprayed coatings in orthophosphoric acid provides an increase in the heat resistance and strength, a decrease in the porosity of the coatings. as a result of the interaction of orthophosphoric acid with the metallic M oxide components of the coating, its structure is strengthened. The resulting acidic hydrated phosphates have
