Description
(B4) LUBRICANT COMPOSITION
The invention relates to lubricating oils and lubricants based on them and can be used in machine building and instrument making to increase the wear resistance of steel-alloy copper friction units through the implementation of selective transfer. Known are glycerol and alcohol-glycerin mixtures 1, as well as lubricant compositions - NIIFOH-2 based on polyorganosiloxane fluid with the addition of salicylal-parachloroaniline 2 and. NIIFOH-3 based on mineral oil with the addition of the same additive (3j, which are used to lubricate steel-spur copper friction steam pairs and ensure that the pair operates in the selective transfer mode, i.e., a stable mode with a low friction coefficient and minimal steam wear Lubricating compositions have insufficiently high load, anti-friction and anti-wear characteristics. Also known is the lubricant composition NIIFOH-4 based on mineral or synthetic oil with the addition of 1- (2-pyridylazo) -2-naphthol 4. However Its characteristics are not high enough. The aim of the invention is to improve the load, antifriction and antiwear properties of oils and lubricants based on them for steel-alloy copper friction units. The goal is achieved by the composition based on petroleum or synthetic oil with the addition of an additive According to the invention, as an additive, it contains lactic acid and aliphatic alcohol ester and 2-hydroxy-5-chloroacetophenone at the following ratio of components, wt.%: 2-Ox; i-5-chloroacetophenone 0.05-0.2 Milk ester oh acid and aliphatic alcohol 20-30 Petroleum or synthetic oil Else. The esters are added to the composition both to improve lubricity and to improve the solubility of 2-hydroxy-5-chloroacetophenone. Concentration below 20% is insufficient for normal dissolution of 2-hydroxy-5-chloroacetophenone, and concentration above 30% slightly improves lubricity, but leads to a significant increase in the cost of the composition. The most rational is the addition of 30% 2-hydroxy-5-chloroacetophenone ether synthesized by the well-known method, its HS-H formula. For the preparation of compositions, petroleum or synthetic oils of different chemical structure and physicochemical properties are used: petroleum jelly, industrial -50 Industrial -20, instrument MVP, vacuum VM-4, Ether-2 esters of pentaerythritol and fatty acids, polyethylsiloxane liquid 132-25. The oils are mixed with lactic acid esters and 2-oxy-5-chloradetofenone in the above proportions when heated to 100-110 ° C and vigorous stirring. After cooling to room temperature, ready-to-use oils are obtained. Lubricating properties investigated n machine face friction. Movable samples with a diameter of 5 mm were made of bronze. 1.09 of steel 45. The volume of oil bath is 35-40 cm. The average sliding speed is 0.8 m / s, the loading is stepped, the test duration is 5 hours. Samples are processed to grade 8 and cleaned with diethyl ether and acetone. Fsksir5 maximum load Pp, d (load, above which a stable mode of friction or selective transfer mode is not realized) and the torque from which the coefficient of friction is calculated. Wear is determined by a gravimetric method based on the difference in weight of the samples before and after 5 hours of testing. The weight wear rate is determined by the formula r / Sn, where q is the weight loss of the samples. SP is the contact area; L is the way of training. The data obtained for the studied compositions is given in the table. Here are also presented for comparison the test data of the lubricant composition NIIFOH-4 (composition 1 - based on petroleum jelly with the addition of 0.05 wt.% 1- (2-pyridylazo) -2-naphthol; composition 2 - based on polyethylsiloxane fluid and with the addition the same additive).
