Предлагаемый солнечный девиационный пеленгатор предназначен дл  определени  девиации авиационных компасов в полете на любых типах самолетов.The proposed solar deviation direction finder is designed to determine the deviation of aircraft compasses in flight on any type of aircraft.

Принцип действи  этого пеленгатора основан на совмещении поворотом самолета тени от вертикального штифта с курсовой меткой на горизонтальной курсовой шкале, ориенТ.ированной по азимуту .солнца. Таким образом, предлагаемый пеленгатор позвол ет останавливать самолет на курсы, необходимые дл  списывани  девиации.The principle of operation of this direction finder is based on the combination of the rotation of the plane of the shadow from the vertical pin with the exchange rate mark on the horizontal exchange rate scale, oriented along the azimuth of the sun. На курсовом лимбе 2 нанесены шкалы: шкала курсов и шкала азимута солнца.
