Description

Gins With pneumatic fiber dressing, equipped with a rotating perforated drum, with suction and injection chambers located inside it, a grate system and an elastic roller, are known.

The proposed gin is different from those known for the use of a rotating impeller, located at the base of the grate, which serves to drain off the last cleaned seeds.

FIG. 1 and 2 depict a gin with pneumatic fiber dressing.

The maschine is powered by conveyors /, forming a bunker core and consisting of triangular shaped strips with 4 mm wiring between them. A suction chamber 2 is connected to each of the conveyors, therefore the cotton-fiber fibers, the litter and the uluk are drawn several times into the gaps between the melts. When approaching the perforated drums 3, the raw cotton comes out from under the influence of the vacuum of the conveyors, but falls under the vacuum of the drums 3, since inside the latter there are suction chambers 5.

Along the arcs of the drums 3 at a distance of 2 mm from the drums, grates 4 are installed,

connects its lower ends with fixed knives //. The fibers of the raw cotton, sucked to the surface of the drums 3, partially penetrate into its slits, and the seeds slide along the grate 4 to the fixed knives 1} and here they stop. The cleaned seeds are removed by slowly rotating impellers 7, then they pass through the seed grate 8 into the seed outlet 9. The fiber is withdrawn through the fiber outlet 10, where it is discharged from the surface of the drums 3 by air, which is located inside the pressure chambers 6.
