Description
(54) ELECTROLYTE TO REMOVE COPPER COATINGS
The invention relates to the electrochemical (anodic) processing of metals, in particular to the removal of copper coatings from a nickel sublayer of aluminum printed circuit boards. Electrolytes are known for removing copper coatings from a nickel sublayer of aluminum printed circuit boards containing copper sulfate Ij. The disadvantage of this electrolyte is the low scattering power which in the range of pH values of 2-3 leads to uneven removal of copper from the printed circuit board. This is especially sharp at the edges of the plate. In addition, the low acidity of the electrolyte does not allow an increase in the working current density, and the high voltage at the bath terminals leads to a considerable power consumption. The aim of the project is to increase the uniformity of the removal of coatings. This goal is achieved by the fact that the electrolyte additionally contains sodium sulfate and metal sulfate selected from the group including chromium, cobalt, manganese and vanadium in the following ratio of components, g / l: Sul $ a1 copper 18 O-220 sodium sulfate 30-50 Sulfate of a metal selected from the group INCLUDING: chromium, cobalt, manganese, and vanadium 1-10. The proposed electrolyte reduces energy consumption. Chromium, cobalt, manganese and vanadium sulfates form redox systems during anodic oxidation on the honey surface. In the presence of an oxidizing agent, poorly soluble passive films are formed on the copper surface, preventing the preferential dissolution of the active parts of the surface. In addition, the oxidizer partially destroys the printing elements (image) and the surface, thus being leveled. At the same time, having been installed on the cathode to low vapencies, these forces are not deposited in an elementary form or in an alloy with copper and non-Mfe Schyug to use copper cathodes as anodes to build copper from acidic electrolytes. The proposed electrolyte is used to treat nickel-copper-nickel and nickel-copper-chromium coated aluminum products. The top layer of nickel is removed by anodic dissolution in sulfuric acid from glycera Vanadyl sulfate {VOSQ, 7Hj, 0) Cobalt sulfate Manganese sulfate
