Abstract

For economical burning of cement clinker, the material is divided into two streams which pass separately from one another through the preheating and calcining system and then together through the rotary kiln and cooler. The combustion air preheated in the cooler passes directly into one branch of the calcining system, and the combustion air preheated in the rotary kiln is fed with the combustion gases to the other branch of the calcining system.
