При определенных плотност х тока и температуре ванны происходит сглаживание неровностей и образование полированного сло .Methods for electropolishing metals in baths containing concentrated solutions of phosphoric and sulfuric acids are known. In these methods, to form a polished layer, the product is hung on the anode into a vaine of a special composition. At certain current densities and bath temperatures, irregularities are smoothed and a polished layer is formed.

In the method proposed according to the invention, the electrochemical polishing bath contains, instead of the concentrated orthophosphoric acid, its salt — ammonium phosphate or trisodium phosphate.

щего состава: 400 г аммонийфосфата или 500 г тринатрийфосфата, 500 г серной кислоты и 100 г дестиллированной воды.composition: 400 g of ammonium phosphate or 500 g of trisodium phosphate, 500 g of sulfuric acid and 100 g of distilled water.

With a current density of 10 A1dm and a bath temperature of 55-65 ° C, parts are processed for 10 minutes; at the same time, the completely non-refined stainless steel surface acquires a high gloss.

Subject invention

A method of electrochemical polishing of metals, for example, stainless steel, in a sulfuric acid bath, characterized in that the electropolishing is carried out in a bath containing sulfuric acid and about 400-500 g / kg of ammonium phosphate or trisodium phosphate.
