The invention relates to the preparation of adsorbents based on bentonites and can be applied in the food industry to clarify juices, wine materials and other liquids. A known method for producing a bentonite-based adsorber includes soaking bentonite in a 0.2% solution of soda ash in two stages for 24 hours each, followed by sterilizing the suspension to increase the dispersion 1. There is also known a method for producing an adsorbent based on natural aluminum-containing materials, including the treatment of the last 15–20% hydrochloric acid when heated for 2–4 h, followed by washing with a solution, drying and calcining 2. The closest to that proposed by technical essence and the achieved result The tattoo is a method for producing an adsorbent, which includes keeping bentonite in electrolyte solutions with a pentising effect (phosphates, carbonates and other sodium salts) with a concentration of 3-5%, followed by acid treatment and drying the resulting product 3. The disadvantage of the process lies in the duration of the process (6-7 hours) and the high consumption of reagents. The purpose of the invention is to accelerate the process and reduce the consumption of reagents. The goal is achieved by a method that includes treating bentonite with an aqueous solution of sodium salt to form a suspension and passing an electric current through the suspension at a specific electricity consumption of 1-5-10 Ah / g. The method for producing bentonite is as follows. The bentonite is processed in an electrolyzer, which consists of a working and auxiliary chambers, separated by a conductive waterproof membrane. A 0.1% sodium salt solution is pumped through the auxiliary chamber and acts as a current-conducting and gas-carrying medium. The current on the stainless steel electrodes is supplied from above the target. Treated bentonite is discharged through the nozzle.
