Description

The present invention is a device for simultaneously drawing two adjoining patterns forming a stereo pair, made in the form of a board / tablet for strengthening two rows of arranged paper for drawings on it. The difference between the device lies in the fact that above the plate there is a freely moving parallel to the base, serving as a guide for carrying pencils of sliders, connected between them by an articulated lever system, which provides mutual displacement of these sliders by the value of a linear parallax corresponding to the position of the drawn object . For the purpose of automatic parallax operation, the hinged-lever system is made in the form of two hingedly connected levers and located in a vertical plane. One of them is rigidly connected to one slider, the other at one end leads the second slider, and the other end is in constant contact with an inclined plane that is installed in space parallel to the plane

For stereoscopic observation of a stereo pair, a stereoscope was used during drawing, and for carrying out the drawing process, a carrier was pivotally connected to one of the sliders and controlled by the artist's hand.

The inclined plane //, set by the artist-operator in space parallel to the plane of the objects to be drawn, is conveniently manipulated with a funnel 12 and held on a ball joint located on a rod 9 moved vertically inside the fixed tube 10. With a slide bar 19, the hand-operated hinge is connected the artist drove 15, which, using the hinged-lever system described above, moves the sliders 19 and 20, and with them the pencils 7 and S, to any points of the drawing. To determine the distance the device is currently tuned for, the sliders 19 and 20 are made in the form of glass plates equipped with marks in the form of several lines that are identical on both plates. The resulting stereoscopic image of the marks is visible to the artist at such a distance, which, at the given moment, corresponds to the distance between the pencils 7 and 5.

The principle of operation of the device is as follows.
