The invention relates to metallurgist 1i, more specifically to steel casting. A shutter of a steel-pouring ladle is known, containing movable and stationary refractory plates with outlet openings of equal diameter l. The disadvantage of this shutter is its low durability in operation. This is due to the fact that when the shutter periodically overlaps, the liquid 1 metal interacts with the contact surface of the lower movable plate to form a metal-ceramic film, which during subsequent displacements leads to the development of the opposite working surface of the upper fixed plate. A disadvantage of the device is that its outlet openings are determined by their location from the end of the plates in the direction of their mutual movement during operation. The actual location of the hole at a distance of 1.2 diameters from the end of the top plate, as mentioned above, leads to a low resistance of the bolt. The aim of the invention is to increase the resistance of the shutter. This is achieved by the fact that the outlet opening is located from the end of the upper plate at a distance of 2-3 diameters of the hole, with a step of movement of 1.1-2.3 diameters of the hole. The drawing shows the shutter. The shutter consists of a movable 1 and a fixed 2 plates, a pouring glass 3 and the bottom of the bucket 4. In this shutter, the outlet opening in the plate 2 is located at a distance of 2r-3 diameters of the hole from its end in the direction of the mutual movement of the plates. When the shutter is working, the movement of the bottom movable plate takes place with a step equal to 1.1-2.3 of the hole diameter. When the edge of the outlet from the end of the top plate is located at a distance equal to 1.2 of its diameter, the through generation of this part of the surface occurs during one heat. The use of the proposed device provides an increase in the resistance of the shutter and pouring 600-700 tons of metal through it.
