Description

This invention relates to medicine and relates to a drug that can be used to relieve hypertensive crises.

1.Known use of aminazine for the relief of hypertensive crises 1.

However, when aminazine is administered intravenously, blood pressure drops sharply, respiratory and circulatory depression is possible, and in some cases convulsions appear.

2.Droperidol is known as a drug that has a neuroleptic effect 2.

The aim of the invention is to expand the range of means for stopping hypertensive crises.

This is achieved by using droperidol as a means for stopping hypertensive crises.

2 ml of sterile 0.25% solution of droperidol (5 mg of the drug) from the vial is dissolved to 20 ml with physiological saline or 5% glucose solution and injected slowly intravenously in a jet to control the patient's well-being, blood pressure and pulse rate. These indicators are monitored every 10 minutes for 30 minutes to 3 hours.

With the introduction of 5 mg of droperidol, in most patients, after 10 minutes, a pronounced decrease in blood pressure, normalization of the pulse rate, and an improvement in health (decrease or disappearance of headache, dizziness, anxiety, nausea, vomiting, and tremors in the body) are observed.

Systolic pressure after droperidol administration is reduced by 30-100 mm Hg. St, and the diastolic pressure at 10-50 mm Hg. Art.

Studies have shown that the hypotensive effect was sufficient in 74% of patients.

The drug is well tolerated.

Droperidol provides a pronounced hypotensive and sedative effect, without an excessive decrease in blood pressure, normalizes the frequency of cardiac contractility, improves health and a high therapeutic effect.

Droperidol has a fast and pronounced hypotensive effect, relieving hypertensive crisis.
