(54) WHEEL OF VEHICLE
The invention relates to transport engineering, in particular, to vehicle driving forces in environments (vacuum, aggressive liquids, gases, a wide range of temperatures, etc.) that do not allow pneumatic tires to be used. One of the most effective means of increasing traction and reducing wheel movement resistance is to increase the contact patch area. This task is most effectively solved when using wheels whose design provides an increase in the actual wheel radius in the contact spot area, for example, by making the wheel form an extended oval or ellipse. A wheel containing a rim pivotally connected by hydraulic cylinders to a hub is known, which, by means of a distributor of compressed gas or liquid entering the hydraulic cylinders, is mounted when moving with an eccentricity l. The disadvantage of this wheel is a relatively stiff rim, which is necessary for driving by shifting the hub relative to the center of the wheel. Closest to the invention to the technical essence and the achieved result is the vehicle wheel, which contains a flexible rim, which is connected with folding spokes with a hub 2j. When the wheel is rotated, the levers sliding along the fist create a flexible rim shape similar to the fist profile. The disadvantage of the known wheel is the weak influence of the support surface profile on the shape of the flexible rim, which depends on the shape of the fist, i.e. in this wheel, adaptation to the ground is small and, as a result, passability is low. Another disadvantage is the kinematically complex mechanism of the spokes connecting the hub and the rim, as well as the guiding mechanism, the role of which is performed by the main roll and the rollers mounted on the inner ends of the spokes. The operation of kinematic pairs is characterized by the presence of contact stresses, the level of which is significantly lower than the potentially acceptable stresses of the materials of construction.
