The invention relates to fire fighting equipment and is intended to create a porous jet necessary for extinguishing fires of various substances and materials. A powder fire extinguisher is known which includes a tank with fire extinguishing composition, a siphon tube, a gas cylinder connected to a gas tube. The lower part of the latter has flap holes for the release of compressed gas in the lower and middle parts of the charge Cl. The aeration provided by this device has a local, far-ranging character. Mainly central h is intensely exploded: an extinguishing agent. This phenomenon reduces the concentration of the powder in the spray and, consequently, its fire extinguishing ability. The concentration of the feed mixture is 50-100 kg / kg (meaning the ratio of the transported amount of powder to one kg of transporting nitrogen or air). Therefore, in fire extinguishers with such an aeration scheme, a supply of carbon dioxide or nitrogen is provided, respectively, of about 25 or .17 grams per kilogram of powder charge. A funnel may be formed along the tube itself, causing a pulsation of the air mixture and pressure. The aim of the invention is to create a structure that provides a higher degree of powder charge aeration when the fire extinguisher is activated, and consequently, a high fire extinguishing ability of the jet produced from it. This goal is achieved by the fact that the lower part of the gas tube is made in the form of a spiral of variable cross section increasing towards the end of the tube. Figure 1 shows the described fire extinguisher, a partial section; Figure 2 shows the lower part of the gas tube. Fire extinguisher 1 includes a siphon tube 2, a cylinder 3 and a gas tube 4, the lower part of which has a spiral shape and is provided with openings, 5 for discharging compressed gas, covered valves or porous partition 6. When the fire extinguisher 1 is activated, compressed gas (carbon dioxide, nitrogen or air) from the cylinder 3 through the tube 4 through the hole 5 enters the bulk charge layer, uniformly on the tip and its aerator. When the extinguishing unit of the fire extinguisher is opened, the powder in the form of a uniform dense mass enters 3 siphon pipe 2, and then through the appropriate spraying device is fed to the fire center. Higher quality of powder powder azrad in the fire of the engine is the way to get a jet with a higher concentration of the air mixture. For example, in the pressure range from If5 to MPa, its values increase accordingly to 100–200 kg / kg. “The extinguishing ability of the jet from such a fire extinguisher, all other conditions being equal, is 1 times higher. For each kg of powder charge, it is sufficient to provide about 1 g of nitrogen (air) or 7–9 g of carbon dioxide.
