Устройство представл ет р д нараллельных друг другу дисков С, насаженных на медленно вращающийс  вал -В. Вал находитс  в горизонтальной нлоскости, в которой расположены горизонтальные перегородки, раздел ющие канал D на две половины, верхнюю и нижнюю. По верхней половине проходит подогреваемый воздух, а по нижней - дымовые газы, так что диски всеми своими точками проход т в обеих половинах канала, при чем в каждый момент половина площади дисков омываетс  воздухом, друга  же дымовыми газами.
