Дл  разгрузки шихты служит устройство 3, иосредством которого шихта 4 располагаетс  в виде куч на поверхности расплавленного стекла. Система обогрева кармана состоит из р да нагревательных элементов 5, наход щихс  в верхнем 1 строении (своде) кармана.
