The invention relates to load measuring technique, in particular to strain gauge force sensors. The known force sensor contains a cylindrical elastic element having through holes, located symmetrically and parallel to its longitudinal axis and forming jumpers on which strain gages 1 are placed. A force sensor is also known, which contains power-sensing assemblies connected to a cylindrical elastic element having through-holes, which are located smoothly and parallel to its longitudinal axis and form bridges on which strain gages 2j are placed. The disadvantage of these devices is a significant hysteresis, which reduces the measurement accuracy. To increase the accuracy in the elastic element, perpendicular to the center and in the middle of its longitudinal axis, a through hole is made that crosses the longitudinal holes, with the force-receiving nodes being placed along the orient of the sensor. The drawing shows the proposed device, top and front views with a slit. The sensor contains an elastic element 1 with through holes 2 dividing it into the central 3 and peripheral 4 parts. The resistance strain gages 5-8 are located at an angle of + 45 to the sensor axis on the jumpers 9, Hole 10, perpendicular to the axis of the cylinder, separates the central part 3, since its diameter is not less than the distance between the opposite openings 2. The force-receiving rods 11 are located at the ends of the ventral part. The device works as follows. The measured force P applied to the brushes 11 causes shear deformation of the jumpers 9, the strain gauges 5 and 6, included in the opposite shoulders of the Wheatstone bridge (not shown), stretch, and the strain gauges 7 and 8 included in the other the opposite shoulders of the bridge are compressed, which provides the output signal from the sensor, which is proportional to the measured force. Other options for placement and inclusion of strain gauges are possible.
