Description
The methods of making originals based on the use of ammonia and its various compounds are known in glasslography. However, the use of ammonia for this purpose is associated with great inconvenience, since ammonia and its salts, being water soluble, do not mix well with fatty substances and show insufficient activity on the glass prepared in a known manner. The proposed method aims to eliminate these inconveniences by replacing ammonia and its compounds with organic bases, the most important of which is pyridine. The use of pyridine, as a compound, which is easily mixed with alcohol, ether, etc., gives an opportunity to obtain a homogeneous mass with various fatty substances, with high activity. Besides.
Кроме того, имеетс возможность употреблени пиридина без применени водных растворов .pyridine and its homologues, being less volatile compounds than ammonia, due to their high boiling point (pyridine-116 °, others are even higher), are much stronger in mass and do not extend their effect to adjacent areas, which occurs when working with ammonia. In addition, it is possible to use pyridine without the use of aqueous solutions.
To manufacture the mass, proceed as follows. Zinc chloride, hematin chloride, copper sulfate, glycerol and various fatty substances, waxes and thickeners, usually used in glass compounds, depending on the purpose of the prepared pulp (ink, pulp mass, carbon paper mass, etc.), an appropriate amount of pyridine is added or
Масса тщательно растираетс и, после соответствующей обработки , служит материалом дл приготовлени препаратов дл стеклографии (чернила, ленты, копировальна бумага и пр.).its homologues in the amount of 10% and above. The mass is thoroughly disintegrated and, after appropriate treatment, serves as a material for the preparation of glass products (ink, ribbons, carbon paper, etc.).
п. обрабатываютс указанными реактивами в газообразном состо нии .Instead of preparing a special mass, any typewriter tape, carbon paper, etc., used for ordinary work, regardless of their composition, activity may be reported, necessary to reproduce the cliché on the glass prepared by known means, for which copy paper, ribbon and the pr are treated with pyridine or its homologs. These substances in the liquid state are recommended to be applied on the back (back) side of carbon paper, and for fixing it is possible to cover them from above with a thin layer of fatty substances, hematin, waxes, varnishes, for example, polishes, any kind of thickener, etc. similar kind of safety substances even in the case of copying paper, tape, etc., are treated with the indicated reagents in the gaseous state.
Similarly, ordinary copier paper, typewritten
п., приготовленные с примесью хлористого цинка, сернокислой меди, гематина в соответствующих пропорци х, или одного из этих веществ, могут быть обработаны пиридином или аммиаком и служить как в качестве обыкновенных рабочих материалов дл машинописи , рукописи, рисовани , так и в виде специальных препаратов дл множени копий на стеклографе.ribbons, etc., prepared with an admixture of zinc chloride, copper sulfate, hematin in appropriate proportions, or one of these substances, can be treated with pyridine or ammonia and serve as ordinary working materials for typewriting, manuscript, drawing, and in the form of special preparations for reproduction of copies on the steklograf.
