This tooth of the intake cone is supplied along the thread profile with successive cutting and leading sections. FIG. 1 shows the proposed met .chik, general view; in fig. 2 is a section along A-A in FIG. 1. The tap consists of intake filter 1, calibrating part 2 and shank 3. Tooth 4 of intake filter 1 in outer diameter is provided with cutting lines 5 and leading 6 sections along the thread profile. The cutting section 5 begins at the cutting edge 7 formed by grinding along the thread profile at an angle c. The lead 6 section is ground over the thread profile to the front face 8 along the radius of the grinding wheel T yj and to the back of the pen at an angle cL oL. and its vertex 9 is bounded by the conjugation radius G ,. Gr is the radial distance of the cutting edge 7 to the axis of the tap. Tj, is the radial distance of the vertex 9 of the leading 6 section, fj -pj F is the width of the tooth. The top 9 of the leading 6 section is shifted to the back of the pen and located at a distance of (2/3) F from the cutting edge 7. During the thread-cutting process, the tweeter ensures its movement with minimal radial deviations by supporting the tips of the leading sections of the teeth against the bottom of the opening holes. thus increasing the accuracy of the thread being cut. By increasing the number of teeth involved in cutting, the load on the teeth is reduced 1.5-1.7 times. This increases the wear resistance of taps by 20-40%. The invention of the tap, whose teeth on the intake cone with respect to the outer diameter are provided with leading sections, located along the thread profile to the front face and the back of the pen, characterized in that, in order to improve the accuracy of the cut thread, the leading sections are made on each tooth of the intake cone and placed along the thread profile at some distance from the cutting edge so that each tooth of the intake cone is fitted along the thread profile in series with cutting and leading sections.
