Сигнал с импульсного трансформатора 10 и рельсов 3 подаетс  соответственно на пороговые элемешгы 6 и 9, стабилитроны 5 и 8 пробиваютс  и на оба входа логического блока И 11 подаютс  импульсы напр жени . При этом с выхода этого элемента подаетс  отгнал на отключение автоматического быстродействующего выключател  12, отключающего контактный провод 2 от источника питани . П{ж пусковых режимах электровозов защита не срабатьшает , так как импульс напр жени  по вл етс  только на выходе импульсного трансформатора 10, потенциал же рельсов существенно не увеличиваетс . В результате этого на блок 11 подаетс  только одни сигнал и схема не мен ет своего исходного состо ни . Автоматический Е 1С1родействующий выключатель 12 остаетс  включенным. Пороговый элемент 6 потенциометром 4 настраиваетс  так, чтобы стабилитрон 5 был закрьп при потешшалах рельсов, вызванных рабочими токами и открьшалс  в момент касани  ковщом контактного провода.
