Description
The present invention relates to a process for the manufacture of oxide pastes, in particular pastes, which are used in the activation of incandescent cathodes of discharge tubes, mainly electron tubes.
Однако, и така обработка не дает гарантии наличи тщательного смешивани , что заставл ет примен ть дл обмазывани сердцевины катода только верхние слои массы, да и то после того, как масса некоторое врем подвергаетс отстаиванию .Oxides, peroxides, hydroxides, hydrates, nitrates, carbonates of alkaline earth metals are usually used as the starting material for the manufacture of pasts. These compounds are displaced in the most crushed state with paraffin oil, melted paraffin or melted resin and form a so-called paste. At the same time, care should be taken to thoroughly mix the individual constituent particles internally. For this purpose, the paste is usually processed from 24 to 48 hours in a ball mill. However, this treatment does not guarantee the presence of thorough mixing, which makes it necessary to use only the upper layers of the mass for coating the cathode core, and even after the mass has been subjected to settling for some time.
In accordance with the present invention, the composite particles of the paste are subjected to ultra-sound vibrations before being applied to the cathode, which will create extremely thorough mixing.
Experiments in the field of ultrasonic vibrations were able to establish that the effect of ultra-sound vibrations can be achieved by thoroughly mixing dispersed
