Description

Carding devices for fibrous substances, consisting of combs describing a circular path, rotatable discs pivotally mounted around the periphery and retaining the same needle direction when combing, are already known. In the proposed differential mechanism for carding and belt machines for combs that describe a circular path, in order to achieve a more uniform and efficient processing of the fibrous material, the needle bars are mounted for free rotation in the planetary wheels of the epicyclic gear mechanism. In transmission, the wheels are selected so that the needles of the ridges driven by the planetary wheels in a circular motion of the crests retain the same direction.

In FIG. 1 shows a vertical section of the mechanism and FIG. 2 is a sectional view of FIG. 1 on line II-I.

1). На другой стороне устройства обработанный материал отводитс  парой валков 8 и бесконечным ремнем 9 в направлении стрелки /.on rollers and in the direction of the arrow. The fiber is then gripped by two nutrient rollers 4 and 5, rotating in the anti-fibrous directions, and guided to the vertical needles 6, which are driven into the strips 7 in the radial direction. The slats 7 describe a circular path around their common axis, which represents the axis of the planetary system, and the needles of the crests constantly remain parallel to themselves, in this case maintaining a vertical position. Describing the circular path, the needles 6 of the combed strips 7 enter first into the fibrous material, sweep through it a certain segment of the path, comb through it, and then exit it, with the tips of the needles describing circle A in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 1). On the other side of the device, the processed material is withdrawn by a pair of rolls 8 and an endless belt 9 in the direction of the arrow /.

In practice, the rolls 4 and 5 can have a speed of about Hume, comb
