Description
In modern industry, contact welding begins to play an increasingly large role. The most widespread of the types of resistance welding is dotted and butt joints, and the butt welding, with products with a cross section of more than 100 mm, is produced mainly by the method of reflow. Butt-welding is almost never used solely because of the production unreliability of this method. Fusion welding has high production reliability only because this method automatically produces the most favorable welding temperature.
The inconvenience and disadvantage of this method is the loss of metal for burning it (about 0.6 of the diameter of the product to be welded) and the indispensable grazing on the weld.
When welding any products, the resulting burr is mined by the welding method and the value of this flash (oxidized metal) reaches five or more millimeters: height.
(52S)In the case of pipe welding, the removal of burrs from the surface does not cause great difficulties, the removal of the bur from the inside of the tubes is extremely difficult; floor (52s)
Removal of bur in the case of bent pipes, for example, coils for various boilers, chemical, refrigeration and other equipment, is completely impossible.
The proposed method of butt welding of electric pipes gives completely clean, without sagging, both the inner and outer surfaces of the pipes at the place of their welding.
This method fundamentally solves the problem of the possibility of welding bent pipes and fully guarantees that there are any burrs, leaks, burrs, etc. inside the pipe, which cannot be guaranteed when using other types of welding (gas, arc, and resistance welding); the method ensures complete tightness and strength of the weld.
To perform welding using this method, highly qualified welders are not required, since, due to its automatic nature, the production of welds depends on the individual properties of welders, and thus ensures a constant high quality of welding.
The pipes formed in one way or another, with the ends welded under the square, are laid in end sponges
