A rotary pulsation (rotary) apparatus for heterogeneous media is known, consisting of alternating fixed and rotating coaxially arranged elements in the form of rotation bodies, for example cylinders, having slots (orifices). In this case, the gap between the fixed and rotating elements has a constant cross section. With decreasing gap size, the intensity of the effect on the treated medium increases. However, with a small gap due to sticking of the material and a number of other reasons, a part of the medium passes through the device without falling into the gaps, which significantly reduces the efficiency of the apparatus.

In order to eliminate the above disadvantages in the proposed apparatus, the gap between rotating and stationary elements has a variable value increasing in the direction of rotation, and the ratio of the maximum gap to the minimum gap lies in the range of 2-20.
