Description
The proposed chemical fire extinguisher is referred to as an extinguisher that is taken off when it is activated and in which the mixing of the acid with an alkaline liquid to form a foam occurs in the nozzle.
In FIG. 1 shows a vertical section of a fire extinguisher brought into use, FIG. 2 is an external view of an acid cylinder; and FIG. 3-external view of the acid supply tube.
In the upper convex bottom of the housing there is a fire extinguisher: an inlet is a hole through which the metal cylinder L is TIGHTLY inserted, in the lower part it is equipped with small IM openings and a coil spring, which is soldered to its bottom with one end. In the upper part, the cylinder L is equipped with a curved conical tube Y, which serves to supply acid to the nozzle I, which is screwed into the sleeve M located on the side of the housing of the instrument. Thanks to the propyls at the narrow end of the tube, the acid is directed obliquely to the walls of the nozzle for better transfer fluids entering it; in the wide part of the tube (/ equipped with a fine mesh to protect its narrow lead-out opening from clogging. A glass ball sealed with an acid that is supported on the coil spring is inserted into the cylinder L and thus prevents accidental breaking; the soda solution is poured into it displaced with licorice, and the bolt Z with the hammer is screwed onto the neck. When actuated, the device overturns, the hammer breaks the acid cylinder, and the latter drops into the cylinder L. Ototo acid through small holes in the cylinder / in bluntly reacts with the soda solution, as a result of which a pressure of 1–4 atm is formed at the top, which, acting on the separated acid and alkali parts, causes them to flow into separate nozzles // into the nozzle, and form a strong due to the formation of an apparatus in the nozzle of the apparatus and the absence, as a result, of various obstacles that destroy the foam in its path, such as: supply pipes, me.chkih holes and so forth. falls on it in the form of flakes.
A ring L is fitted to the lower part of the fire extinguisher housing, inside of which a ring is placed.
