В насто щее врем  широко известны сплавы ванади  с железом (феррованадий), примен емые дл  легировани  стали. Обычные товарные сплавы содержат (в %) около 40,1 ванади , до 1,0 углерода, 1-3,5 кремни , до 2,0 алюмини , до 0,25 фосфора, до 0,15 серы.Vanadium-iron alloys (ferrovanadium), used for steel alloying, are now widely known.
