Известны способы получени гликозидов из листьев олеандра спиртовой экстракцией, очисткой и кристаллизацией. 25 кг измельченных листьев олеандра экстрагируют 30%-ным спиртом методом противотока и получают 160 л экстракта, который упаривают при 70°С и остаточном давлении 700 мм рт. ст. до одной трети от первоначального объема. Остаток охлаждают и отфильтровывают выпавший осадок, который заливают 850 мл воды, нагревают до 75°С, перемешивают до получени суспензии, добавл ют 250 г влажного гидрата окиси свинца, перемешивают в течение 30 мин и фильтруют. Полученный осадок заливают 800 мл 60%-ного спирта, нагревают, перемешивают и фильтруют . Элюирование 60-80%-ным спиртом новтор ют еще 6 раз. Из фильтратов после кристаллизации отдел ют 80 г сырого продукта, который раствор ют в 600 мл ацетона, фильтруют , смешивают с 500 мл дистиллированной воды и оставл ют на кристаллизацию. Выпавший кристаллический продукт отфильтровывают , промывают и сушат.
