Abstract

FIELD: hydro-acoustic measurements, in particular, methods for measuring and monitoring noisiness of submarines.SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method, during movement of submarine at given speed V at depth H, signals are received by hydro-acoustic antenna which is towed by submarine. Controlled parameter is evaluated on basis of energy spectrum of signals. Signals are received by non-directional receivers of antenna in N points, positioned on a straight line along movement route of submarine of given length Lat given distance D from first point to center of submarine. Noise emission is determined by average value of measured spectrums. Length L, distance D of first measurement point and number of N of measurement points are selected from expressions:where S - speed of sound in environment, H- minimal depth of submarine during measurement, D- distance from center of submarine to first measurement point, f- lower frequency of measurement working spectrum, f- upper frequency of measurement working spectrum.EFFECT: increased trustworthiness when measuring in low frequency spectrum range.2 cl, 5 dwg
