In process of gas injecting, water bank formed around injection well is displaced by bed water to edge portions of storage where thickness of gas saturated formation is less than height of water bank. The latter will prevent spreading of gas over top of bed-reservoir. EFFECT: prevention of gas spreading over top of bed-reservoir. 1 dwg
